Ghost at My Shoulder

I have related in previous posts that my dining room has been the site of strange activity.

I was discussing the curtain scenario (the curtain that keeps getting flung from the dining room window) with my boyfriend. I mentioned I was considering trying to replace the rod, taking an identical rod from my front room and slipping it into the curtain to try to determine if it was the rod that was causing the trouble or if it was truly something arising from the spirit realm.

As I was discussing this with him, I noticed a large cold spot to my right. Now, I was sitting in my front room at the time. This being a Victorian house, I've gotten used to drafty areas. This cold spot was unusual and I could delineate it with my hand, feeling a large circular area of cold and also feeling where it ended and normal air temperature resumed.

The next morning, when I entered the front room, the curtain on the front room window had been removed!

What's so strange about all this is the timing: we asked something to show itself in the dining room and in the aftermath, the curtain came off the window repeatedly; I considered using a rod from the front room and mentioned this out loud, then felt a cold spot--and that night, the curtain in the front room behaved in an identical fashion. This is the first time the curtain has come off the front room window.

Whatever is here, it certainly seems to be trying to capture my attention.
